eDynamic Learning Electives Catalog - eDynamic Learning

eDynamic Learning was founded in 2008 by a high school electives teacher who felt it was challenging to find high quality elective curriculum covering unique course topics such as forensic science and anthropology. Our founders mission, which still holds true today, was to help students find their passion and prepare them with the knowledge and skills to make life-shaping decisions. Today, eDynamic Learning is the largest publisher of electives and CTE courses for middle and high schools in North America. Our standards-aligned curriculum employs the backwards design methodology and the Behaviorist, Constructivism and Cognitivism learning theories. The curriculum is highly rated with both teachers and students and is used in every instructional model as a textbook replacement in class and online. It is compatible with nearly all LMS systems and runs on all technology platforms and devices, including Chromebooks and smartphones. All courses are made in-house by teachers and subject matter experts and have a consistent and user-friendly design. Each course includes engaging narratives, interactive features (videos, podcasts, slideshows, flashcards), reflective discussions, assessments, and inquiry-based course activities.Teachers can customize the curriculum with teacher or district-authored content to include videos, lessons, links, slides, and accommodate various IEPs/504 plans, and provide meaningful feedback. eDynamic Learning courses include both formative and summative assessments. Unit quizzes, a midterm exam, and a final exam offer a randomized large pool of questions and are auto-graded for teachers, and the projects and activities are assessed by the teacher using a scoring rubric. Each course includes extensive teacher resources including a pacing guide, answer keys, and a variety of guides to support blended, online and inquiry-based learning. Teachers also have a dashboard and gradebook to monitor and grade work. Report features allow schools to see attendance, grades, assignment attempts and more. With a continual growing library of nearly 250 courses, our diverse and inclusive catalog fosters the development of a global, well-rounded perspective through courses such as African American History, History of the Holocaust, Art in World Cultures, Music appreciation, Mythology & Folklore, Health & Physical Education, and an extensive library of vocational/career planning curriculum to support 14 of the national career clusters. All courses meet WCAG 2.0 AA, a 508 requirement that supports the hearing and visually impaired and a built-in literacy support toolbar to support reading disabilities and English Language Learners. We also employ an external diversity/sensitivity editorial organization to review our lessons, images, and assessments to identify potential bias, stereotypes, and inauthenticity to ensure the language and topics are sensitive and appropriate for all learners.
