David Anderson is a well know market data consultant. He has worked in the market data industry since 1984 - including roles with Telerate, Bishopsgate Systems and from 1989 13 years with Reuters culminating in various global marketing roles; in respect of market data systems (e.g. Triarch and RMDS). Since January 2002 David has been operating Atradia (www.atradia.com), a management consultancy practice focused on the market data industry. He has been quoted commenting on the market data industry in major publications. David edited the respected annual ‘IMD Reference’ book between 2003 and 2009. He instigated the SIIA/FISD initiative to create a professional certification program for market data practitioners. David also acts as a Program Director for a variety of other FISD activities including EMEA focussed events; the Exchange Constituent Group (ECG); the FISD Technology Forum; the FISD Buy Side Group; and the FISD Cloud Working Group. David and Atradia operate from the glorious countryside of West Sussex UK.

Matthew Bergerman joined the DTCC Data Solutions team in July of 2015 as a Director charged with the development of solutions in the Equity, Fixed Income, and Reference Data space. He has worked in the Financial Information industry for over 20 years. He has worked on the vendor side previously in the production of data and the development of data applications at Thomson Financial and Pershing. Prior to joining DTCC Matthew has experience on the consumer side of financial information industry leading market data and reference data efforts at Alliance Bernstein, Fortress Investment Group, and Deutsche Bank.
Matthew has an undergraduate degree in Finance from Syracuse University and a Master of Business Administration from the New York Institute of Technology with a concentration on Accounting & Information Systems.”

Brennan Carley

Brennan leads the Refinitiv Platform Consulting team, responsible for consultative engagement with strategic customers. Brennan has held a range of roles at Refinitiv (formerly the Financial & Risk business of Thomson Reuters) since 2011, including leading the global Enterprise business (a $1.3B business that provides content and related services including real-time, historical, reference data, enterprise analytic services, data management platforms, and managed services), and large programs such as the companies MiFID and FRTB programs. Brennan joined Refinitiv from Proton Advisors, where he advised private equity funds, venture investors, and their portfolio companies. Brennan was part of the founding team and SVP of Product & Marketing at Spread Networks, a provider of low latency connectivity to the financial markets, and before that COO of NYFIX (later NYSE Technologies). He founded Radianz (later BT Radianz). Prior to that was SVP of Technology for Instinet, and began his career at IBM. He has been a director on the boards of companies including Marketcetera, Yipes, and Monitor110, and is an adjunct Professor of Strategy at New York University. Brennan earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from New York University and has done graduate studies at Columbia University, Harvard Business School and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He has been listed in The Trade magazine’s ranking of the “100 Most Influential People in Buy-Side Trading” and featured in the books “Architects of Electronic Trading” and in Michael Lewis’ “Flash Boys.”

Joshua Carroll joined RBC in the UK in April 2009, initially running the London & Asia Market Data Team. Joshua relocated with RBC to NY in January 2014 having taken over the role of Global Head of Market Data Operations and Engineering in November 2013. Josh joined RBC from Merrill Lynch where he was Head of Market Data Operations for EMEA. During his time with RBC – he has at times also held several other dual roles in addition to his Market Data responsibilities – Head of Infrastructure Applications (covering Global Monitoring & Databases) and London Unix Manager.

Tom Davin is Managing Director, Financial Information Services Association (FISD) of the SIIA. FISD is the global, neutral forum for the financial information industry with a diverse membership that includes major market data vendors, exchanges, technology providers, and the financial institutions that utilize financial data products. Tom works closely with FISD members to identify major issues and seek opportunities to bring the financial information industry together to discuss and resolve those issues. FISD conducts regular membership events in North America, Europe, Asia, Brazil, and Australia and hosts the biennial World Financial Information Conference – the premiere global industry conference for financial information professionals.

Shimrit Or is a Senior Professional Services Consultant for Velocimetrics, based in New York City. In this role, Shimrit is responsible for working closely with clients to ensure the optimum solution required to meet their exact needs is designed and architected. This is a relationship that starts in the pre-sales stage and takes her all the way through to the solutions' implementation and deployment.
Shimrit has a passion for FinTech and has worked in related roles for the past decade. Prior to her current tenure, she was TS-Associates’ Director of Operations for 2 years, a position she also held at Correlex. Shimrit also worked as a Business Services Management Consultant at Xor Technologies, based in Israel and has also gained experience of managing teams located on a global basis in many of these roles.
During her time with Velocimetrics and TS-Associates, Shimit has worked with a number of clients to effectively design and develop solutions to assess the quality of the market data they are consuming at both a channel and content level.

Frank W. Piasecki is the president and co-founder of ACTIV Financial, a global provider of real-time, multi asset financial market data, managed enterprise services and Cloud Publishing solutions. Before ACTIV, Frank spent 11 years at A-T Financial where he spearheaded the institutional sales programs and global customer service group. Frank drove a customer-centric, product definition process, positioning A-T as a pioneer in real-time market pricing, data feed and display technology. His previous financial services work includes the formation of SRG, Inc., a VRDO securities content management research firm. He currently serves as a board member of Clearwater Management Company, a privately held asset management company. Frank has over 22 years of senior management experience in the market data industry and has spoken on various panels globally to address the role of technology and content within the changing real-time data space.

Matthew leads the Middle Office and Operations groups within Bloomberg's Enterprise Solutions business.

Matthew joined Bloomberg in 2014, creating the Forward Integration Strategy for directly connecting to web, data science, linked data, and business intelligence consumers of reference data. Matthew created the Bloomberg Provenance product to meet the data lineage requirements of BCBS-239, and created Bloomberg Ontology to solve the metadata requirements.

Matthew has more than 20 years' experience working in the financial services industry where he has held leadership positions in IT at UBS, JP Morgan, Barclays Capital and ING. A former CTO and distinguished engineer, Matthew was recognized for success in data consolidation and governance at Barclays Global Investors, JP Morgan, and UBS. His last role was IT planning and running R&D for Middle Office & Operations at UBS.

Matthew also chaired the ISO 20022 Working Group for almost a decade, writing the ISO 20022 Standard. He also made significant contributions to FpML and FIX.

Matthew holds a Computer Science degree from the University of Durham, is a Member of the British Computer Society, and Chartered Engineer

Dayle Scher joined TABB Group in August 2015 as a senior analyst where she focuses on the technology and equities practices, in addition to consulting projects. She brings more than 25 years of experience in the capital markets, with expertise in the business processes and technologies impacting the institutional securities industry.

Prior to joining TABB Group, Dayle was a vice president at State Street Global Exchange where she supported the development and commercialization of information and analytics solutions, including go-to-market and communications strategies. Prior to joining State Street in December 2010, Dayle was a Research Director in the Securities & Investments practice at CEB TowerGroup where her research covered a variety of functions in investment management including operational risk, technology spending, data management and governance. Scher started her career working in the investment management industry, both at Morgan Stanley Investment Management in London and New York and at MFS Investment Management in Boston.

Dayle received her MBA in finance from Fordham University and a BA in political science from the State University of New York at Albany. She spent a year studying at the Centre for Economic and Political Studies in London.

Darren Wasney is the Program Manager of the Financial Information Forum (FIF). Darren supports FIF members by researching the operational and compliance impacts of regulatory and industry initiatives on the front office, back office and market data technology, as FIF members collaborate to identify and resolve implementation issues. Leading the FIF Market Data Technology Working Group, Darren analyzes market data capacity trends and forecasts, and develops meeting content to help FIF members better understand how market data and technology is impacted by capacity, regulation, industry trends and innovation. Prior to joining FIF, Darren spent six years as a Senior Market Data Analyst with Jordan & Jordan leading projects on market data compliance assessments, inventory control, expense reduction and business analysis. Prior to Jordan & Jordan, Darren worked on the municipal securities trading floor at Citi.
