James Brooks

Head of NYSE Proprietary Market Data, Intercontinental Exchange:NYSE

As Head of NYSE Proprietary Market Data, Mr. Brooks is responsible for ensuring that the NYSE Group’s markets provide the highest possible quality marked data including real-time, historical and referential data. Mr. Brooks is engaged in the formulation of business strategy, new product development, the enhancement of existing products and marketing. Mr. Brooks joined the company in January 2012 as part of the U.S. transactions business. He assumed responsibility or proprietary market data in 2014. Prior to joining NYSE, Mr. Brooks was Vice President of Equity Strategy at NASDAQ OMX responsible for the execution and routing of orders for the NASDAQ, BX, and PSX equities markets. Before joining NASDAQ in 2001, he worked at the Law and Economics Consulting Group analyzing the structure and competitive forces of various markets. Mr. Brooks studied at the University of Virginia where he earned a B.A. in Economics.

Trista Burke is the Director, Head of Americas for Crown Jewels Consultants Ltd (CJC). Founded in 1999, CJC is a leading independent, financial technology management solutions partner. CJC’s expert team has a wealth of experience working across all market data systems, providing technical and commercial management consultancy, development as well as support and managed services to our clients across the globe.

Trista is responsible for sales, business development, business delivery and customer support for the US Operations. Prior to joining CJC in 2016, Trista held senior management positions in sales, account management, and client services at FIS Global and ACTIV Financial.

Trista holds a BA in Government and Law at Lafayette College.

Tom Davin is Managing Director, Financial Information Services Association (FISD) of the SIIA. FISD is the global, neutral forum for the financial information industry with a diverse membership that includes major market data vendors, exchanges, technology providers, and the financial institutions that utilize financial data products. Tom works closely with FISD members to identify major issues and seek opportunities to bring the financial information industry together to discuss and resolve those issues. FISD conducts regular membership events in North America, Europe, Asia, Brazil, and Australia and hosts the biennial World Financial Information Conference – the premiere global industry conference for financial information professionals.

Lila currently works in the Strategy and Sourcing division at Credit Suisse as the Market Data Sourcing Category Lead. Her goal is to be a trusted partner for internal stakeholders on all Market data strategic sourcing activities by delivering optimally priced, risk mitigated third party supplier contracts that support key business activities and generate revenue for the firm. Proven ability to successfully analyze business requirements, identify efficiencies and potential opportunities as well as develop innovative, cost effective solutions for enhancing processes, increasing data compliance, reducing market data spend and improving market data licensing. She has been at Credit Suisse for 21 years, always in the Market Data arena. Her previous roles include Regional lead of Market Data, Market Data Business Analyst, and Market Data Finance team lead. Prior to Credit Suisse, She worked as a Process Engineer for Kvaerner and Honeywell and has a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Cooper Union in Chemical Engineering.

 

Eric Guerrino

EVP, Operations, FS-ISAC

Eric Guerrino is Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for the FS-ISAC. He oversees operations of the Security Operations Center (SOC) and works with members to introduce new products and services. He manages vendor relationships and helps to build new public/private partnerships that enhance the security of the financial industry and add value to the membership.

Prior to joining the FS-ISAC, Eric was Managing Director and Senior Advisor to the Head of Operations and Technology Risk Management at BNY Mellon. Previously, Eric was Head of Information Security at BNY Mellon from 1998 through 2008. He served as the firm’s liaison to multiple industry groups established to examine cyber security challenges and associated activities, and threats to critical infrastructure.

Eric was a member of the industry team that helped found the FS-ISAC in 1999. Eric became a director of the FS-ISAC in 2001, and served as chairman from 10/2006 – 12/2008. Eric also served as a director of the Internet Security Alliance, and led various industry initiatives supported by BITS. Eric was the recipient of the 2004 RSA Conference Award for Best Practices in Application Security.

Kevin Hopkins

Kevin Hopkins has worked at Barclays for 9 years and is currently Director, Global Head of Market Data Commercial Management, where his team is responsible for vendor contracts and relationships. Kevin has worked in the financial industry since college, working part time in operations at Merrill Lynch and moving to voice communications upon graduation. Kevinthen moved to Prudential Securities and eventually Prudential Equity Group. Kevin worked at Prudential for 20 years in a variety of Distributed Technology and Market Data project and people management roles. In 2007 upon closure of Prudential Equity Group where Kevin was managing market data, desktop and trading support, Kevin moved on to Lehman Brothers as a Deal Manager and migrated over to Barclays as a Market Data Vendor Manager in 2008 , where he was subsequently promoted to US Commercial Team Lead before moving into his current role. Kevin graduated from St. Francis College (Brooklyn) with a degree in Business Management and later obtained a PMP certification.

Peter Schablik

Peter has more than 30 years of experience in bank auditing, information technology and advisory services. He has assisted many banks remediate regulatory criticisms, meet expectations related to internal and information technology audit, and achieve high performance through process re-engineering and information technology solutions.

Prior to joining Mazars, Peter was the leader of the New England advisory practice of CohnReznick LLP. He also held leadership roles at Arthur Andersen LLP, Grant Thornton LLP and Accume Partners, where he was primarily focused on banking auditing, internal auditing and advisory services. He possesses deep skills and knowledge related to information technology solutions and industry trends. He has led dozens of information security, privacy and penetration test/vulnerability assessment engagements.

Peter’s broad range of project experience includes mergers and acquisition, bank regulatory sanctions and information technology implementations. Peter has a BBA in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and an MBA in Finance and MIS from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
